I am a writer known for being “fearless.” I take risks that some writers don’t, whether with subject matter or “breaking all the rules.” I write in a variety of genres ranging from poetry and memoir to essays, travel writing, and fiction, and my writing has received several accolades. I invite you to enter into a world that will engage and enhance your soul. The goal of all my writing is the replenishing of humanity in an often cold, impersonal transhumanist world.

I write fiction (including short and flash fiction) rich with detail, realistic characters, dialogue, and setting. The initial draft of my first published flash fiction piece (under 1,000 words) was written in just twenty minutes while I was a senior undergraduate English major. I have studied the craft of fiction by reading the classics that make up the literary fiction canon, as well as emulating the master writers that readers love, all the while developing and adhering to my own unique style.

POETRY THAT ECHOES THROUGH TIME

I have a thorough knowledge of the conventions and literary devices that make for exceptional poetry. While I have written in several genres and modes as a creative writer, my favorite is poetry. I love playing with words and forming them into precise and more concise units of meaning. Whether a sonnet, a ballad, an epic poem or an elegy, my poetry is timeless, accessible, creative, and well-formed.
